IOL — International Linguistics Olympiad
2026
- China round, individual: 4 High Distinction, including one student in the top 12 of the novice group; 2 Distinction; 4 Merit; 2 Best Solution
- China round, team: 1 High Distinction, 1 Distinction, 4 Merit
- Regional round: 57 Hanlin students and candidates advanced to the national round
- Regional individual awards: 12 High Distinction, 19 Distinction, 23 Merit. Team awards: 9 Distinction, 7 Merit
Earlier seasons
- 2025 — academic camp (China round): 2 Best Solution, 3 High Distinction, 2 Distinction and 5 Merit individually; 2 High Distinction, 8 Distinction and 2 Merit as teams.
- 2024 — awards across both the professional and novice groups in the academic camp and the IOLC assessment.
- 2023 — one student selected for the Canadian national team at the regional round, alongside High Distinction and Distinction placings in both groups.
- 2021 — four students took individual gold in the China round, one of them with the best solution award. Four students made the IOL Team China list, half the team.
- 2020 — China round: 1 team gold, 4 team silver, 2 team bronze, 4 individual gold, 7 individual silver and 11 individual bronze.

- 2025 — 86 shortlisted, of whom 76 went on to win global awards
- 2024 — 95 shortlisted and 45 global awards, a 47% conversion rate
- 2023 — 108 shortlisted
IHBB — International History Bee and Bowl
- 2020–2021 — four students advanced to the global round, a 100% advancement rate. One placed second in the regional final; two teams placed second in the high school regional final and fourth in the middle school regional final.
