How matching, formats and credentials work.
How is a tutor matched to my child?
Every course opens with a placement diagnostic. An advisor then matches the student to a subject-group tutor by level, target competition or syllabus, and preferred teaching language, and the match is reviewed as the course progresses.
Do tutors teach in English?
Many of the roster teach fully in English — including tutors trained at Cambridge, NYU, UBC and Sydney — and bilingual teaching is available across every subject group.
What credentials does the roster hold?
Five PhDs - from Rochester, Denver, HKUST, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Johns Hopkins; College Board, Cambridge International and IBO certifications; official coaching accreditations for AMC, DMM, BMO Round 2, PUMaC and Math League; and competition judges for the NEC China final and Diamond Challenge global final.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both. One-to-one and small-group classes run online nationwide and in person at the Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Hangzhou learning centres.
Is this the whole teaching team?
