Every IB course carries a four-to-one support team — tutor, planner, supervisor and study manager.
Step 1Entry assessment
Submit the tutoring brief; the starting level is measured properly.
Step 2Tutor matching
A subject tutor is matched, with full background notes provided.
Step 3Plan and group
A study group opens with the 4-to-1 team and an agreed plan.
Step 4Scheduled teaching
The teaching office schedules lessons; tutoring begins.
Step 5After-class reports
Content and learning state are reported after every lesson.
Step 6Homework follow-up
Assistant and form teacher double-check that homework lands.

Can a student outside an IB school sit the DP examinations?
No — the IB diploma examinations are open only to students enrolled at IB World Schools. That is also why the pre-study route exists: to arrive at an IB school ready.
Can a student take four Higher Level subjects?
Yes. At least three HL subjects are required, and students with the capacity can carry four.
How is the IB assessed?
Two strands: external assessment — the examinations sat at the end of the two-year programme — and internal assessment, marked by course teachers on lab reports and coursework.
Which route should my child take?
Pre-study before the DP begins; synchronous tutoring during it; one-to-one wherever the profile calls for a bespoke syllabus. A placement assessment settles it.
Which subjects does Hanlin teach?
